PEARLS Program
The Program to Encourage Active, Rewarding Lives (PEARLS) is an individualized evidence-based program that connects people with depressive symptoms with a coach to learn how to gain self-confidence in their ability to recognize their symptoms and learn how to solve problems affecting their lives. In addition, PEARLS focuses on increasing physical activity and social connections which often improves the mood of participants with depression.

Healthy IDEAS
The Healthy IDEAS program uses evidence-based practices to identify and address depression symptoms among older adults most at risk of being unrecognized and undertreated for depression. Existing community-based organizations embed the program’s core components into their services and their non-mental health professionals (such as case managers) employ a short-term, focused intervention to support better management of depressive symptoms and increased engagement in meaningful activities.
